6. Pangong Lake, Ladakh.
For the Tibetans, Pangong Lake means “high grassland lake”. It is located at a height of about 4,350 m and is 134 km long, and stretches from India to China. Though you may find the surrounding place extremely cold, it might just be the place for that peace and quiet you need.
