The painted dunes located in Lassen Volcanic National Park proved to be great sites for photography enthusiasts visiting Northern California. These are vast expanses of pumice fields that are naturally colored, providing incredible views. You can find this near the Cinder Cone Volcano, which is believed to have erupted during 1650.
