Striezelmarkt is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Dresden, Germany. It will be celebrating its 582nd anniversary this year.The name comes from Strüzel or Strobel, a name of a type of cake sold at the market, which is now commonly known as Stollen or Christstollen.
