Surtsey Island is a volcanic island that was formed by volcanic eruptions from 1963 to 1967. Scientists estimate that the island will only remain above sea level for the next century.

About 400,000 gold bars are stored in the vaults of the Bank of England. The Bank also stores gold for the UK government, other central banks all over the world, as well as the London Bullion Market Association.

Dulce is located on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation and is considered the location of an underground facility where studies on extra-terrestrial activities are conducted.
24. Diavik Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
This massive crater in the earth produces 3,100 lbs of diamonds a year. Construction in the area started in 2001, but it was in 2003 it begun to bring diamonds.
