41. Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland.
The Giant Causeway is composed of around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. They emerged as a result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The Giant Causeway lies at the foot of the basalt cliffs alongside the sea coast on the edge of the Antrim Plateau, Northern Ireland.
