16.) Hole N’ The Rock

This unusual abode was hand-carved by artist Albert Christensen on the side of a cliff in the 1940s. It took twelve years before he and his wife Gladys was finally able to move in their new home. In 2000, the hole was sold to Erik and Wyndee Hansen by the original owner’s son.

17.) Golden Spike National Historic Site

The Golden Spike is located in Promontory Summit in The Utah Territory and is maintained by the National Park Service. It was set up as a park as a remembrance of the meeting of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads in 1869.

18.)  University of Utah’s Red Butte Garden

The Red Butte Garden is made up of a 21-acre botanical garden and five miles of hiking trails that pass through native vegetation. It was opened to the public in 1985.

19.) Nine Mile Canyon

In the middle of Utah’s borderless desert is a forty-mile canvass of reddish rocks that stretches through Carbon and Duchesne counties. It is filled with ancient petroglyphs and pictographs. Nine Mile Canyon is considered the longest art gallery in the world. It is about 125 miles away from Salt Lake City.

20.)  Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon is known for what is called as hoodoos, a distinctive rock formation formed by years of erosion and transforms the whole canyon as a huge natural amphitheater.
