6.) Fantasy Canyon in Vernal, Utah

These unusual rock formations resulted from the continuous erosion in the vast Uinta Basin in northeast Utah. The structures resemble piles of irregularly stacked planks that have amazed the world since its discovery in 1909 by paleontologist Earl Douglass.

7.) Summum Pyramid in Salt Lake

This unusual pyramid was built between 1977 to 1979 by a mysterious religious group that practices modern mummification. This religion began in 1975 after Claude “Corky” Nowell’s encountered what he called “Summa Individuals” who taught him of the new path of creation.

8.) Gilgal Sculpture Garden in Salt Lake City

The most notable sculpture here, the Sphinx, has a finely carved face of Latter Day Saints Church founder Joseph. Sculptor Maurice Brooks completed the face using an oxyacetylene torch. The garden was part of the design and creation of Thomas Battersby Child, Jr.

9.) The “Up” House

This is a full-scale replica of the floating house from the Pixar film, Up was built by Blair Bangerter, who decided to sell the house later. Another superfan bought the house when it went for sale on the market.

10.) Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah

This religious structure was built in 1998 to serve the needs of the Hindu community the county. Seasonal festivals, weddings,  receptions, and other weekly services are held here.
