8. Sea Pens.
They do look like old-fashioned quill pens. The only difference is that they can only be found on the seabed of Long Sound, New Zealand. These unusual quill-looking creatures polyp colonies that primarily lives on planktons. Sea pens are commonly found in deep waters where turbulence is friendly.
